Diversity receiver apparatus for compensating for the Doppler shift in a train radio communications system

The diversity receiver (RX) is used for radio transmissions between 2 relatively displaced mobile radio devices subject to doppler interference, with at least 2 antenna elements (A1, A2, A3) coupled to respective reception paths (1, 2,3 ). The antenna elements are spaced apart from one another in the travel direction of the mobile radio device, at least one of the antenna elements (A2, A3) providing a demodulated reception signal via the associated reception path when the mobile radio devices pass one another.
