The motor has a rotor which is rotated via ultrasonic oscillations provided by piezoelectric oscillators, supplied with HF pulses for resonant vibration. The latter is transmitted to a number of elastic lamella elements (19) in frictional contact with the rotor at their free ends. The lamella elements extend at a given angle relative to the normal to the friction surface (20) of the rotor, selected to provide a holding effect for preventing reverse rotation of the rotor, with the ends of the lamella elements biting into the friction surface.
