an A/D converter(1) for converting a composite video signal into a digital signal; a pseudomedian filter(2) for detecting the luminance signal from the output signal of the A/D converter; a delay(3) for delaying the composite video signal converted by the A/D converter(1) to be matched with the luminance signal; and a subtractor(4) for receiving the luminance signal through its inverted input terminal and receiving the composite video signal with its noninverted input terminal, to seperate the color signal(C).
