The present invention relates to an apparatus and method for controlling the temperature of a refrigerator using genetic algorithm-fuzzy inference. Specifically, the temperature distribution in the refrigerator is inferred using genetic algorithm-fuzzy inference to determine an error of a refrigeration temperature that varies from set to set. The present invention relates to an apparatus and method for controlling a refrigerator temperature using genetic algorithm-fuzzy inference.;That is, the apparatus and method for controlling the temperature of a refrigerator to which the genetic algorithm-FUZZY inference according to the present invention is applied calculates the temperature rising rate and the falling rate of the freezer and the refrigerating chamber of each refrigerator set, and based on this, the freezer and the refrigerating chamber of the set. The reference temperature of the freezer and refrigerator compartments of the set is inferred by the genetic algorithm-fuzzy function so that the reference temperature of the has a maximum correlation with the reference temperature of the data store that has already been learned, and the set reference temperature is used as the deduced reference temperature. By compensating the reference temperature of the freezer compartment and the refrigerating compartment, and then controlling the compressor, damper and fan according to the compensated reference temperature, there is an effect of eliminating the temperature control deviation of the refrigerator according to the set.
