Anesthesia docking station (ANESTHESIA DOCKING STATION)

The present invention relates to a catheter docking system that is easily attached to a patient and facilitates the secure connection of an infusion line to an anesthetic-transferring catheter. The system includes a docking station with an adapter installed. The adapter includes a first hole adapted to communicate with the stagnation line and a second hole adapted to communicate with the anesthetic-delivery catheter. Valve means is provided for regulating the flow between the first and second holes. In addition, the system preferably relates to a docking station, means for alleviating tensile strain on the catheter wire.
