The present invention relates generally to methods and compositions for providing a stable non-gelling dispersion of zinc pyrithione and cuprous oxide in paints and paint substrates, more particularly in paints.;According to the invention, the paint or paint substrate contains amine treated wood rosin to impart the desired gelling-inhibiting properties to the paint.
