The present invention seeks to provide an adsorptive air cooler capable of achieving high COP and stable operation for a long time. Conventionally, when steam refrigerant generated by exchanging heat with load water in a refrigerant tank serving as an evaporator is absorbed in an adsorbent heat exchanger, the cooling water for removing the heat of adsorption is received by a constant temperature and a constant flow rate determined under normal circumstances. According to the present invention as set forth in claim 1, the temperature and flow rate of the cooling water for removing the heat of adsorption are arbitrarily controlled in accordance with the cooling output of the load water by utilizing heated cooling water or heat source water after removal of the heat of adsorption.;According to the invention of claim 1, the refrigerant tank and the load heat exchanger unit are configured as separate units, and the load cooler partially evaporates the refrigerant through heat exchange between the refrigerant and the load water of the liquid provided from the refrigerant tank through the pump. It is provided to cool the load. After the heat exchange in the load cooler, the mixed fluid of the liquid refrigerant and the vapor refrigerant is returned to the refrigerant tank for separating gas and liquid. Since the refrigerant tank and the load cabinet are provided separately, the heat exchange with the load is achieved by utilizing the latent heat of evaporation of the refrigerant regardless of the possible temperature deviation of the refrigerant tank. Therefore, it is possible to obtain a load heat of constant temperature.
