SUBSTANCE: heat exchange surfaces with discrete vortex generators are examined by dusting the air flow passing through a duct made on scale and formed by heat exchange surfaces with vortex generators. At motion of dust-laden air flow threough chamber 1 turbulization of the flow along the heat exchange surface occurs; if the surface parameters are optimal, only the wall boundary layer gets turbulized; at a failure of this layer the vortex structures formed past the vortex generators throw on dust particles past the vortex generators, which makes it possible to pass judgment on the presence of zones of attachment on the surface. Dust through tube 3 is sucked from reservoir 6 through the duct by blower 5. EFFECT: facilitated procedure. 1 dwg
