THREE-PHASE VOLTAGE STABILIZER WITH SINGLE-PHASE HIGH-FREQUENCY LINK

FIELD: conversion technology. SUBSTANCE: voltage stabilizer has two frequency converters. One of them has D.C. link (three-phase-single-phase) and the other one has direct coupling and spontaneous commutation (single-phase-three-phase). Single-phase high-frequency step-down transformer is placed between them. Stabilizer provides for voltage stability on low-voltage side of transformer substation independent of changes of network voltage, of value and character of load. Stabilizer is controlled by two methods. In first case voltage of volt boost is controlled without shift of first harmonic, in second case leading phase shift of voltage of volt boost is used for compensation of reactive power. EFFECT: simplified design and reduces mass of stabilizer due to insertion of single-phase link of increased frequency. 2 cl, 2 dwg
