FIELD: veterinary. SUBSTANCE: method involves the use of dot-blotting and antigen prepared from leptospirae of serogroups Pomona, Tarasson, Grippotyhosa, Icterohacmorrhagiae, Canicola, Hebdomadis and Sejroe on the aqueous-whey nutrient medium. Culture mixture taken at the equal ratio is centrifuged at 45000g for 15 min, supernatant is removed, prepared precipitate is disrupted at frequency 20 kHz and power 100 W for 2 min. Antigen is extracted with 50% ethanol for 24 hr at -20 C and 90% ethanol for 6 days. Antigen is separated by centrifugation at 80000g for 30 min, supernatant liquid is removed, precipitate is resuspended in distilled water and protein concentration in antigen is brought about to 20 mkg/cm³. EFFECT: improved method of diagnosis.
