SUBSTANCE: method of making semikilled steel, microalloyed by vanadium comprises steps of blowing a melt metal in a converter by oxygen, heating it before discharging to a ladle up to a temperature, being by 5-20 C higher, than a predetermined one; adding to the metal melt upon process of it discharging to the ladle reducing agents, alloying additives, a vanadium containing material with simultaneous blowing of it in the ladle by an inert gas; adding as the vanadium containing material a vanadium slag with total content of calcium and magnesium oxides, being no less, than 12 mass %, and with total content of ferrum, being no more, than 22 mass %; introducing the reducing agents to the ladle in quantity, being necessary for producing a content of silicium in the melt metal, equal to (0.06-0.09)mass %; adding the vanadium slag, after all reducing agents and alloying additives had been added, in quantity, providing a content of silicium in the ready steel, equal to (0.03-0.05)mass %.
