SUBSTANCE: method involves conveying gas and dust-laden gas mixtures through flame-extinguishing catalytic active nozzle with heat-exchanger; supplying cooling heat-carrier to heat- exchanger, when catalytic active nozzle reaches temperature equal to catalyzer working temperature; interrupting supplying of heat-carrier, when nozzle temperature reaches value not exceeding initial working temperature of catalyzer; heating nozzle to initial working temperature of catalyzer if flame occurs.
