UNIT FOR FASTENING COLUMN TO FOUNDATION AND METHOD FOR INSTALLATION COLUMN BASE ON FOUNDATION

FIELD: civil engineering, fastening metal columns to foundations. SUBSTANCE: unit for fastening column to foundation has column base with a transverse and support plate, anchor bolts installed in foundation, and centering device fastened to the foundation. Centering layer with a hole is secured to the support plate from bottom. Centering device is made in the form of a plate and related through screw joint a screw rest with ring part. Column base is installed on the foundation using centering device. Upper end of the screw rest is placed in the hole of centering layer, lower part of which rests on ring support part of screw rest. Method for installing column base on foundation is laid in the fact that when lowering onto foundation the base is coincided with centering device. Before this, upper end of screw rest is brought until level of design position of column base is achieved by alternate moving the plate of centering device along foundation surface and turning its screw rest. Then column base is lowered onto centering device until upper end of screw rest is coincided with hole in centering layer, and its lower part rested on ring support part of screw rest.
