FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves dissecting skin and subcutaneous fat in the region of external jugular vein, exsecting tumor and injured portions of the internal jugular vein, internal carotid followed with defect substitution with vascular autograft. Skin and subcutaneous cut is done 2-3 cm from the external jugular vein which is selected together with surrounding fat and used as autograft of carotid. EFFECT: enhanced cosmetic effectiveness of operation; accelerated treatment; prevented recurrence of disease.
