FIELD: chemical technology of polymers. SUBSTANCE: method involves copolymerization of trifluoroethylene, alkylvinyl ether and hydroxyalkylvinyl ether in medium of organic solvent in the presence of radical initiating agent - azocompound and tertiary amine, and primary aliphatic C1-C3-alcohol also at amount 4-10 g/eq. per 1 g/eq. hydroxyalkylvinyl ether followed by purification of copolymer solution obtained. Synthesized compounds were used as cold-hardened coatings. EFFECT: improved method of synthesis.
