摘要

FIELD: electronic engineering. SUBSTANCE: electrophotography method for manufacturing luminescent screen assembly 22 on substrate 18 of cathode-ray tube 10 involves coating of substrate with conducting layer 32 followed by coating of the latter with photoconducting layer 34, building up of electrostatic charge on photoconducting layer, and exposure of selected areas of photoconducting layer to visible light so as to actuate charge on it. Then selected areas are developed with triboelectrically charge-dry powder surface-treated structural materials of screen. Dried-out screen is fixed by many coating of water-alcohol mixture of dichromatized polyvinyl alcohol or potassium silicate and then coated with film, aluminized, and baked to form screen assembly. EFFECT: improved adhesion of surface-treated materials to photoconducting layer due to contact between surface-treated materials and solvent to make photoconducting layer and materials sticky. 3 cl, 4 dwg
