ORTHODONTIC APPARATUS FOR DISPOSING OF BAD HABITS IN CHILDREN

FIELD: medicine; stomatology. SUBSTANCE: orthodontic apparatus for disposing of bad habits in children consists of two orthodontic crowns 1 fixed to teeth. Attached to crown are vestibular arch 2 and tongue arch 3. Vestibular arch 2 is secured to crowns for compression by means of bends 4 on the ends. Flat metal pipe 5 is rigidly soldered to the middle part of tongue arch 3. Introduced into pipe 5 is active member which presents vertical loops made of orthodontic wire. Bents ends 7 of active member are brought outside to pipe 5. EFFECT: provision of removal of active member, for instance, during eating. 2 dwg
