SUBMERSIBLE PUMPING UNIT FOR PUMPING FORMATION FLUID OUT OF INCLINED WELLS

FIELD: oil producing industry; operation of wells with curved sections or inclined wells. SUBSTANCE: length of submersible equipment assembled of separate sections can exceed 20 m. To bring such equipment through curved sections and inclined wells without noticeable deformation, sections of submersible equipment are connected with tubing and with each other for limited angular displacement within limits permissible by bending of spring rods. For this purpose housing of section to be connected made with inner groove for sphere is coupled by union nut with outer sphere of housing. Secured slacklessly in end face of union nut over circumference and in parallel with longitudinal axis are spring rods whose mating ends are clamped in holes of special flange of housing. Owing to spring rods, sections can return into initial position after passing curved sections of well and twisting of housings and cable relative to common axis under action of torque, arising when pumping unit engine is cut in, is prevented. To increase rigidity, clamps are used to secure connections with spring rods. EFFECT: enhanced operation reliability, enlarged operating capabilities.
