FIELD: treatment and purification of industrial sewage waters, applicable in various industries, particular, in coal industry for treatment of mine waters from oil-containing impurities and mechanical suspended matter. SUBSTANCE: upper layers of sewage waters with temperature exceeding the temperature of sewage water of sediment accumulation zone are accumulated in place of their introduction into settler and supplied to zone of accumulation of sediments and further on fro discharge, and oil-containing impurities are trapped in zone of sewage accumulation and discharged by side draining. EFFECT: higher efficiency of the process of treatment of industrial sewage waters and trapping of oil-containing impurities.
