FIELD: radars, laser radars and sonars; radio and laser navigation. SUBSTANCE: for first direction of sounding, scattered signals are received at two points, range rate is measured, phase-frequency shifts are compensated and complex envelopes of received signals are separated; cross-correlation functional of complex envelopes is calculated for all combinations of magnitudes of parameters of motion and relative position of reception points; maximum magnitude of cross correlation function is found according to which direction and delay of shift of amplitude-phase allocation of scattered field are determined; then second direction of sounding is selected and again, range rate, direction and delay of amplitude-phase allocation are determined similarly, after which desired three-dimensional vectors of translational speed and proper rotational speed are calculated according to magnitudes determined for two directions of sounding. EFFECT: high accuracy of parameter of motion of distant objects.
