SUBSTANCE: gear for suppression of vibrations of span structures of bridges includes cantilevers arranged on both sides of span structure having roadway and suppressing members anchored on cantilevers in longitudinal vertical plane. Cantilevers are placed in the level of roadway of bridge and suppressing members are manufactured in the form of laminated deflector attached with upper part to free ends of cantilevers. Relation of height H of span structure to length 1 of each cantilever and height h of laminated deflector lies within H:1:h=1.0:1.0:0.5. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of suppression of vibrations. 2 dwg
