A cosmetic prepn. (I) for skin care comprises at least one mixt. of a herbal complex and a trace element complex based on calcium and magnesium, together with a carrier suitable for application to the skin. Also claimed is a mixt., prepd. immediately before use, of a prepn. (I) with an active absorption base (II) contg. alkaline earth metal carbonates, polysaccharides, silica and trace elements.
