A mould for plastic parts (8) is used in a press, and comprises die halves (2,3) enclosing moulding cavities; with channels (22) for the circulation of a heat exchange medium. The new configuration includes one or more heat exchange elements (32), which interpenetrate between the cavities for the plastic mouldings (8). These are connected to the external thermal accumulator (24) for hot- or cold heat exchange medium, outside the moulding tool. Also claimed is use of the moulding tool as described, with injection of recycled plastic.
