Plastics moulding with one-stage, durable water-spreading coating

摘要

Plastics moulding has a water-spreading coating of SiO2 particles (I) and a polymer (II) with polar gps.. The coating consists of (I) having an average particle size of 7-25 nm and spheroidal (II) particles with an A:B ratio of over 0.5 (A = the min. dia. and B = the max. dia.) embedded between (I), which can be bound together without losing their spheroidal particle structure. Also claimed is a method of making the coated moulding.
