Automatic, infinitely variable, radial transmission on hydromechanical principle

The transmission contains a drive and driven discs and a chain (3) extending over gears on both discs. The gears are radially displaceable on the discs. Each gear is coupled to a gear pump via its shaft. The gear pump of the drive and driven discs feed separate pressure medium system respectively. The two pressure medium systems (A,B) are coupled by a pipeline, contg. valves displaceable by the pressure difference between the two pressure systems. The pipeline energises hydraulic adjusters for the radial displacement of the gears.
