Road sweeping machine with pneumatic dirt retainer

To both sides of the sweeping machine (1) is located a suction shaft behind an allocated side sweeping brush. A roller brush coacts with a suction shaft. The first roller brush (3) is set at an angle ( alpha ) to the machine longitudinal axis (10) below the chassis (8) in the region of the suction shafts (4,6). The roller brushes feed the swept dirt (11) to a pre-positioned suction shaft (7). In front of the first roller brush is located a second roller brush (2) in opposite inclination to the first brush angle. The roller brush front faces (12) are mutually offset and inclined across the machine longitudinal axis.
