The machine (1) is a motor-driven vehicle (2) with rise and fall support with connecting means at one end for the boring unit (3). The support can be designed as a length-adjustable support arm (17) centrally mounted on the vehicle relative to the width extension. The boring unit may be height adjustable on the support by means of a hydraulic lift unit (44).
