Preparation of ammonium salts of iron(III)-aminopolycarboxylic acid complexes by reaction of an aminopolycarboxylic acid with iron(III) oxide hydroxide in aqueous medium at temperatures from 50 to 110 DEG C and subsequent neutralisation with ammonia or water-soluble amines.
