A cleaning device, for exchanging support baskets in bag filters, consists of a dust extractor, a coupling socket, a flexible hose (3) and a tubular suction probe (4), the probe having a suction nozzle (5) surrounded by a flexible brush (6). USE/ADVANTAGE - The device is useful for bag filters used to clean waste gases, esp. from waste incineration and copper smelting plants, for removal of dust contaminated with highly toxic substances such as polycholorinated dibenzodioxins or dibenzofurans. It provides basket changing under low dust conditions and protects operators against health risks.
