An apparatus for shaping a pourable materials, in particular of components of the building field

Equipment for moulding materials, and forming mix where appropriate, and partic. for the prodn. of building construction elements, has a mould with at least one baseplate and sides, the latter resting on the base. At least one side is flexible enough to be bent to required radii of curvature and then fixed to the baseplate. Pref. materials are "geopolymers" (inorganic). A steel band (1) and a coaxial radially inner band (2) both stand vertically on a baseplate by a series of triangular tongues (4). Both bands (1,2) are thus L-shaped in profile. This gives then both a certain elasticity about their common centre (5). The triangular parts (4) are radially outside the first band (1) and inside the second band (2). ADVANTAGE - The method is flexible and can be used e.g. for individually designed building components.
