Combination measuring gauge for treating tooth roots

The measuring gauge comprises an appliance body (1) which terminates at one side surface with the reference plane (8) as outer surface of the end plate (3), and supports a movable side piece (2) with the end-plate abutment side (9). The reference plane and the abutment side are on parallel planes at right angles to which the slide piece moves along a millimetre scale (5). The part of the slide piece running along a guide groove (18), and the appliance body both have two congruent logarithmic scales (6,7). A guide spring fits into a matching groove in the appliance body.
