The device has a ball- or drum-shaped water container (1), which has an internal gas bag (2) fixed to its lower half. The container also has an inflating device, which can be unscrewed, and is fitted with an exchangeable high pressure container. Gas can be released from this container, which inflates the bag and forces the water through microscopic holes (8) in the upper part (9) of the device. The resulting microscopic droplets are heated up and are vaporized immediately, which lowers the temperature of the surroundings by extracting 620 kcal of heat per kg of water discharged.
