A triple optical reflector element is produced in strip form that has a multiplicity of grooves machined on the surface (13) to act as reflectors. The grooves have a general V cross-section and can have surface profiles to provide different reflection planes. One surface may be curved and another as an angled straight line. A number of the strips may be in parallel to create a panel. The surfaces of the reflector grooves can be machined by grinding and rifling of the surface may be obtained by repeated traversing of the grinding or by laser across the surface. The complete reflector has a suspended number of glass balls positioned in front of the reflector to act as lenses.
