Transparent plastic sheet for aircraft windows consists mainly of copolymers (I) contg. more than 95 wt.% methyl methacrylate (MMA) and 0.5-5 wt.% polyfunctional acrylates (PFA), obtd. by a casting polymerisation process in which the temp. is held at 110-130 deg. C. for at least 5 hrs. for final polymerisation.
