The threaded bush (1) receives the spoke (2) and is screwed into the hub body (3). This affords protection to the spoke against bending stress in the sensitive threaded section by means of a boring-out of the bush on the spoke side. If the spoke brakes, the broken-off piece of spoke can be removed with the bush and replaced.The bush has an external thread by which it is screwed into a threaded boring in the hub body. It has a hexagonal head on the spoke side, so that it can easily be screwed in or out with a suitable tool.
