The trainer consists of a portal frame (1) with a vertical support (2) and a horizontal arm (3) at the top, fitted to the vertical support by means of a bar (13) which slides inside. The same arm has a lug (14) on one end which engages with a female socket (15) on the upright, and a stabiliser roller (4) on the other with a ring (5) on its underside for a line (6) attached to the ball (7). The stabiliser roller is freely rotatable on the arm, being held in place axially by two ball bearings, wedging rings and pins. The vertical support is square or rectangular in section and slides freely in guides (17,18) on the ends of radial tubular arms (22,23) on a mast, enabling its height to be adjusted.
