Water-soluble detergent concentrates with wetting, dispersing and sequestrant properties contain at least one anionic surfactant, at least one nonionic surfactant, a polyacrylic acid with a molecular wt. below 10,000, and at least one glycol ether cosurfactant. Also claimed is a process for preparing a fabric for bleaching, dyeing or printing, comprising immersing the fabric in a bath contg. a concentrate as above. Also claimed are aq. compsns. contg. 1-10 g/l of a concentrate as above.
