A conveyor tube (60) suspends a plate (10) and a container (20) which may be selectively brought into communication with each other. An aperture (25) is formed in the base of the container, allowing selective opening and closing of a food passage between the lower face of the container and the upper face of the plate. The plate and container are suspended from the tube by an elastic connector (50) which passes through a threaded tube (40) projecting upwardly from the plate. The threaded tube cooperates with a nut (22) formed in the container, allowing relative positional adjustment between the plate and container by rotating one of the two.
