GRAVESTONE LAMINATION STABILIZING DEVICE AND GRAVESTONE STRUCTURE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stably hold and prevent breakage of a stone material, such as a gravestone, in a situation, such as an earthquake and the fluctuation of a ground. ;SOLUTION: The gravestone lamination stabilizing devices 14 and 15 are arranged between first and second base stones 11 and 12 and the second base stone 12 and a gravestone 13. Each of the devices 14 and 15 comprises a plate- form stone plate having size slightly smaller than that of the shape of the bottom of an upper stone material, and a stainless bar loosely fitted in between stone materials between which the stone plate is vertically nipped. For example, even when the gravestone 13 is vibrated due to an earthquake, the width of vibration is limited by the stainless bar and a fall down is prevented from occurring. Further, since the bottom of the gravestone 13 makes no contact with the surface of the second base stone 12, breakage thereof is prevented from occurring. Instead of the gravestone 13, a stone image, such as the Goddess of Mercy, is stable placed.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1997,JPO
