METHOD FOR EXECUTING NEW/OLD GENERATION PROGRAM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To read out a program from a substituted memory by a reading address always within a prescribed address space also after substituting memory faces and to execute the read program. ;SOLUTION: Memories 1, 2 are substituted after the completion of transfer/ storage of a next generation program to the memory 2 during the execution of a current generation program in the memory 1 and then the next generation program in the memory 2 is executed. If address space corresponding to the memory 1 and address space corresponding to the memory 2 are substituted for each other, the next generation program can be read out from the memory 2 by the same address space as the address space for reading out the current generation program and executed.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1997,JPO
