PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate obstruction to environment by mixing a zeolite component ion-exchanged by a metallic ion with an acidification inhibiting component for suppressing acidification of a solution after its phosphate ion is adsorbed to prevent the acidification of a treated waste water after removal of its phosphate ion. ;SOLUTION: A zeolite containing-material having phosphate ion adsorption property is produced by mixing the zeolite component ion-exchanged by the metal ion and having the phosphate ion adsorption property with the acidification inhibiting component for suppressing acidification of the solution to be ion-adsorbed as main components. As the metallic ion to be exchanged, ferrous ion, ferric ion or aluminum ion is preferable. As the acidification inhibiting component, the bottom deposit of lakes, marshes or rivers (e.g. the bottom deposit of Biwa lake, in Japan) can be utilized. Formation of a molding by solidifying the mixture of the zeolite component with the acidification inhibiting component facilitates the handling and the post-treatment.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1997,JPO
