APPARATUS FOR PRODUCING STABILIZING FLUID FOR GROUND EXCAVATION AND PRODUCTION OF THE FLUID

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an apparatus for producing a stabilizing fluid for ground excavation wherewith the reduction in mixing time and the mass production are enabled. ;SOLUTION: This apparatus has a water-supply section 12 for supplying water W under pressure, a powder-supply section 14 for supplying a powder A (e.g. bentonite or a water-sol. polymer), and a jet pump 16 for mixing the water W with the powder A. The pump 16 has a pipe body 16a and a jet nozzle 16b; a suction pipe 16d wherewith a discharge end of a screw feeder 14b communicates is connected to a vacuum chamber 16c; and a water-supply channel 12b of the water-supply section 12 communicates with and is connected to the nozzle 16b. When the pressurized water W is supplied to the nozzle 16b, then the water W is jetted as a jet water stream W' from the tip of the nozzle 16b into the pipe body 16a at a high speed, forming a vacuum zone around the stream W', and the powder A is drawn from the pipe 16d into the vacuum zone and mixed into the stream W' from its outside, thus giving a stabilizing fluid B.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1997,JPO
