CORNEA TISSUE CULTURE AND OCULAR STIMULATION TEST

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To conduct a tissue culture of the cornea (cut pieces) obtained from slaughtered livestock or dead person so as to enable the cornea (cut pieces) to remain alive while maintaining its biological function, and to conduct an ocular stimulation test without paining animals by using the cultured cornea (cut pieces). SOLUTION: A tissue culture is conducted for the cornea (cut pieces) obtained from slaughtered livestock such as cattle, horse, pig, sheep, goat or rabbit or dead person. It is preferable that the other ocular stimulation test be conducted using the cultured cornea (cut pieces) obtained by the above tissue culture.
