PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate the possibility of biting a game ball resulting from the fact that a position for stopping the rotation of a lead screw after the operation to draw out the ball by a lead screw-type premium item-winning ball delivery device, is not specified, and thereby make the premium item-winning ball delivery device trouble-free. ;SOLUTION: A lead screw 15 is pivotally supported parallel with a premium item-winning ball passage 14 so that a helical protrusion 21 formed on the outer periphery of the lead screw 15 is interposed in the premium item-winning ball passage 14. At the same time, a specified number of premium item-winning balls are delivered by the constant rotation of the lead screw 15 through the driving of a stepping motor 29. In this premium item-winning ball delivery device with the above function, an encoder 24 for detecting the rotary position of the lead screw 15 is installed, and the lead screw 15 is continuously rotated by the operation to draw out the ball. Consequently, all of the premium item-winning balls are discharged from the premium item-winning ball passage 14 into a ball drawing-out passage 11. After that, the rotary position of the lead screw 15 is detected by the encoder 24, and the starting edge part 21' of the helical protrusion 21 on the lead screw 15 is always stopped, sidestepping the premium item-winning ball passage 14 by continuously rotating the lead screw 15.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1997,JPO
