PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically carry out the excellent desulfurization performance even when the boiler load or the fuel to be used is changed by providing a device to independently adjust the charge of lime stone on each stage, and arranging a nozzle capable of vertically changing the blow-out direction on a lime stone charging port. ;SOLUTION: When pulverized lime stone is charged for the purpose of desulfurization of the exhaust gas, the supply of the pulverized lime stone from a storage tank 4 is controlled by a delivery device 5. A charging port 3 of lime stone is of multiple structure, and the delivery devices 5 of the same stages as that of the charging ports 3 are installed so that the charging amount of pulverized lime stone can be independently changed at each stage. A nozzle capable of changing the direction of a nozzle part of the charging ports 3 is arranged. It is possible to charge pulverized lime stone of optimum amount for the desulfurization reaction and the optimum temperature range even when the gas temperature distribution is changed in a furnace 1 according to the boiler load or the fuel.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1997,JPO
