PURPOSE: To receive sufficient sunlight on the field in a stadium on which natural lawns are planted and obtain a good environment for growing and maintaining conditions of the lawn. ;CONSTITUTION: Fixed roofs 16-18 are installed so as to cover at least seats 12-15 oppositely arranged to face each other, putting a rectangular or elliptic field 11 on which natural lawns are planted, between them. The stadium is provided with a movable roof 20 in which an opening partitioned at the edge of the fixed roofs 16-18 is arranged so as to be opened/closed. Sunlight is taken from the opening fully opened. It is designed so that the sun shines on the whole field all day long even in the day when the sun is at the highest location in the year and even in the day when the sun is at the lowest location in the year.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1997,JPO
