RESIN COMPOSITION AND AUTOMOTIVE FLOOR MAT LINED WITH THIS RESIN COMPOSITION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To line a floor mat with a sheet with a single shaft screw extrusion machine by containing a large number of packing materials. ;SOLUTION: A resin composition composed of 5 to 15w.% of an amorphous olefin resin, 5 to 20w.% of a low concentration polyethylene resin having a melt flow rate of 20 or more, 15 to 30w.% of an ethylene propylene copolymer resin and 60 to 70w.% of a packing material is introduced to a screw extrusion machine and heated and kneaded and an automotive floor mat is lined with a sheet extrusion-formed from a T die loaded in the tip of this extrusion machine. Since the viscosity of the amorphous olefin resin is very low compared with an olefin resin having high crystallization when melted and made to be plastic, the large amount of packing material is taken in when heated and the flexibility of the extrusion sheet is maintained.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1997,JPO
