PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce a coating film capable of securing oxidation resistance, adhesion with a Ti-Al compound and the soundness of coating even if being applied to the parts of a gas turbine driven at a high temp. for a long time and to provide a coating method therefor. ;SOLUTION: The surface of a titanium-aluminum intermetallic compound 2 is subjected to surface treatment to make better the adhesion of a film 1, a substrate making better the adhesion between the upper layer and the surface of the titanium-aluminum intermetallic compound 2 is formed on the surface subjected to the surface treatment, a Pt plating layer good in adhesion is formed on the substrate, and aluminum is diffused over the Pt plating layer.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1997,JPO
