PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the shearing resistant force and reduce the design conditions and the construction cost, by fixing a steel support plate to the near position of the horizontal center of the beam main reinforcements in the column-beam connection part of a reinforced concrete structure. ;SOLUTION: Steel support plates F with bored holes are arranged to be pierced by beam main reinforcements B in the column-beam connection part of a reinforced concrete structure and fixed by welding or fastening with nuts from both sides at the nearly center of the horizontal part. The concrete of the column-beam connection part at the outside of the main compressive strut zone functions as a substrate and the compressive strut width is widened and the shearing strength of the column-beam connection part is increased. As a result, the concrete strength used for the connection part can be decreased and hence, the sectional area and volume of the connection part can be reduced.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1997,JPO
