ROPE-TYPE SPAT COLLECTION DEVICE AND ARTIFICIAL SPAT COLLECTION OF ADHESIVE BIVALVE BY ADJUSTING AERATION FLOW

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable the adjustment of the amount of adhesion of adhesive bivalve spat by using thin ropes as a spat collection device and adjusting the flow rate of aeration. SOLUTION: Ropes of about 1-5mm in a diameter are arranged in plural rows in an identical direction and in plural stages as a spat collection device 1. The spat collection device 1 is combined with an aeration device 2, which can change the flow rate of aeration, and this enables the adjustment of the spat adhesion density.
